Job summary

MumsHelpers is seeking a proactive, highly organised Mother's Helper/Household Assistant to help keep a busy family home running smoothly during the week. The role would be 2–3 times per week for 1–2 hours each time.

The role focuses on creating calm, order, and flow behind the scenes to support day-to-day life. Duties include tidying, laundry, beds, kitchen reset, and light cleaning while staying discreet and reliable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role would be ideal.
• Naturally tidy and proactive in daily tasks.
• Reliable, discreet, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Resetting the home to keep spaces tidy and organised.
• Making beds and regularly changing bed linen.
• Laundry (mostly folding, organising, and putting away).
• Keeping the kitchen clean and reset after the morning rush.
• Maintaining organised cupboards, wardrobes, and shared spaces (especially the children’s playroom).
• Light cleaning and general upkeep (not deep cleaning).
• Noticing what needs doing and just getting on with it.
