Job summary

A warm and busy family in Chelsea is seeking a reliable Mother’s Help to support with two young children after school hours.

The role focuses on childcare, light meal preparation, and keeping the afternoon and early evening running smoothly. Hours are Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–6:00pm/6:30pm, with a rate of £22 to £25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Mum with care of two children, aged 2 and 4.
• Take children to activities and appointments.
• Prepare simple, healthy meals for children and family.
• Follow family meal plan and assist with cooking.
• Keep kitchen and children's areas tidy in the afternoon.
• Clear up after meals and dinner.
• Help keep the house organized and presentable in the afternoon.

About the Family

A warm and busy family based in Chelsea is looking for a reliable, proactive, and hands-on Mother’s Help to support the family during the afternoons.

The family already has a housekeeper who works in the mornings, so this is not a traditional housekeeping role. Instead, the focus will be on supporting Mum with the children, meal preparation, organization, and keeping things running smoothly throughout the afternoon and evening.

This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who already has a morning position and is looking to add consistent afternoon hours.

Responsibilities

1. Supporting Mum with the care of two young children, aged 2 and 4

2. Taking the children to activities and appointments.

3. Preparing simple, healthy, and nutritious meals for the children and family.

4. Working alongside Mum to prepare meals and follow the family’s meal plan.

5. Tidying the kitchen and children’s areas throughout the afternoon.

6. Clearing up after the children’s meals and dinner.

7. Helping to keep the house organized and presentable during the afternoon.

8. Working as part of a team with Mum and being happy to share responsibilities.

9. Providing additional ad hoc support during school holidays or on occasional dates when agreed
