A family based in Chelsea are looking for a warm, nurturing nanny to care for their little girl, aged 19 months, and newborn baby who was born in September. The family are seeking someone who will become a trusted and consistent presence in their children's life, and who their little girl is genuinely excited to see each day.
The nanny will take the little one out and about to activities such as ballet, music classes and the park, before coming home for her nap. The family have a housekeeper who is in from 2pm to 7pm and also helps in the afternoons, so the focus of this role is the morning and early afternoon care. Dad works in the office 5 days a weekand Mum runs her own business.
Their daughter is a bright, sweet and highly intelligent little girl who is already doing things ahead of her age. She loves to read and is happiest when she is being engaged and stimulated, so the family would love a nanny who can educate her, keep her entertained and support her development through play.
Cooking is important to this family - their daughter loves her food and is a real little foodie, so someone who enjoys cooking and meal prep would be ideal, including batch cooking meals to keep in the freezer while the little one is napping. The family are very clean and tidy with a high attention to detail, and would love a nanny who is conscious of keeping things in order.
Mum is half French, so a French-speaking nanny would be amazing, though this is a bonus rather than a requirement. The family travel a couple of times a year, and would love a nanny who is happy to join them. The family have a very sweet old cat.
A driver is not necessary as the area is easily commutable, though the house has a parking space available if the nanny would prefer to drive to work. Some babysitting on top of the daytime hours would be a welcome bonus.
Above all, the family are flexible and are looking for someone who can grow with them long term, particularly as the family expands, with hopes of a third baby further down the line.
