Job summary

Currie Motors UK Ltd in Twickenham seeks an experienced MOT Tester to carry out vehicle services, MOT testing and diagnostics to Lexus GB standards. The role includes coaching apprentices and liaising with customers to explain work clearly.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle maintenance and previous main dealer or diagnostic experience. A full UK driving licence is required and the position is on-site at the Lexus service centre.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle maintenance or equivalent
• Experience in an automotive repair environment preferable

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle services and repairs per Lexus GB standards
• Examine vehicles and diagnose non-routine defects
• Carry out routine servicing, repairs, maintenance and MOT testing
• Report defects to MOT and VSR standards
• Maintain productivity and work within budgeted time
• Coach apprentices and attend training
• Liaise with customers to explain work and build rapport
