Job summary

HiQ Tyres & Autocare is seeking a full-time MOT Tester Technician to join our Wellingborough team. You will perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicles, ensuring compliance with MOT legal requirements.

Qualifications

• A valid MOT Tester licence is essential.
• Must have a full driver’s licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience working on all makes and models of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests on various vehicles ensuring legal compliance.
• Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
• Inspect vehicle components including brakes, lights, and exhaust systems.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience

Experience within a fast-fit car centre or vehicle franchise dealership

Use of hand tools and power tools
