Job summary

Excel Resourcing in Liverpool is seeking an MOT Tester / Service Technician for an ongoing contract at a client workshop in Liverpool. You will carry out MOT tests on passenger vehicles, with some basic servicing and repairs, while maintaining safety standards.

The role offers competitive hourly rates (£24-£25) outside IR35, with flexible hours and the support of Excel Resourcing consultants to assist with queries.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MOT license.
• NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in vehicle maintenance.
• Experience repairing and servicing vehicles.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in the workshop.
• UK driving license and own tools.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Team player with time management and organization.

Position: MOT Tester / Service Technician

Location: Liverpool (L8)

Rate: £24.00 - £25.00 Per Hour (Outside IR35)

MOT TESTER / SERVICE TECHNICIAN - THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for an MOT Tester / Service Technician to work at our client's workshop on an ongoing contractual basis. You will be responsible for carrying out MOT Testers to passenger vehicles, alongside some sales prep work, basic service and repairs. The contract is outside IR35 and the rate on offer is between £24.00 - £25.00 per hour.

MOT TESTER / SERVICE TECHNICIAN - SKILLS REQUIRED:

• You must hold a valid MOT License.
• NVQ/City & Guilds or similar in vehicle maintenance.
• Experience carrying out repair and service work vehicles.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in the workshop.
• UK Driving License and possess your own tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a productive team.
• Time management and organizational skills.
