My client is a Main Car dealership based in Letchworth Garden City. Who are currently looking to recruit a MOT Tester/Prep Technician

What the role will include:

• Ensure the MOT Test Centre conforms to the standards set by the Vehicle Inspectorate
• Undertake MOT’s and re-test, working with in the DVSA framework
• Carry out diagnostics and updates to vehicles, using the latest manufactured diagnostic equipment
• Plan, carry out, check and test all work done to the highest possible standard
• Instruct the parts department of the parts that are necessary for the repair
• Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out and to immediately report any further works required or vehicle faults
• Assist service reception recording recovering, returning and moving customers’ vehicles

Experience, skills and attributes;

• Must have an up-to-date MOT Licence
• A full UK driving licence is essential
• Ability to achieve high productivity and efficiency

• Self-motivated and customer focused
• Excellent time management to ensure customer lead time scales are met
