Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Havant, Hampshire, is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our expanding team. You will conduct MOT tests on vehicles up to 10 years old, follow DVSA guidelines, and provide clear, honest reports to customers and service advisors.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £41,000 with a potential £45,000 OTE, regular pay reviews, progression paths, pension, and a 1 in 3 Saturday rota.

Qualifications

• Previous MOT Tester experience in a dealership, independent garage, or fast-fit centre.
• Holder of a valid UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
• Organised with excellent time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests following DVSA guidelines and safety standards.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide clear reports to customers and advisors.
• Maintain MOT equipment and workspace to high safety and cleanliness standards.
• Support the service team with inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Keep up to date with MOT regulation changes to ensure compliance.
• Build positive customer relationships through clear, trustworthy communication.
