Clear Automotive Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a well-established vehicle repairer in Castleford. This on-site role offers a Monday-to-Friday 40-hour week with an emphasis on high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Qualifications

• DVSA MOT Tester Licence is essential.
• Experience as MOT Tester in dealership, independent garage or workshop.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with servicing/repair experience.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Solid understanding of DVSA testing procedures and current legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 4 MOT tests per DVSA standards and regulations.
• Inspect vehicles, diagnose faults and identify required repairs.
• Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Record MOT results using the DVSA testing system.
• Produce clear, accurate inspection reports for customers.
