Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Frome is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our independent vehicle service centre. You will conduct Class 4, 5L and 7 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and support fleet/taxi testing with full training provided.

The role offers a 35k–40k salary, a Monday–Friday schedule, on-site parking and a modern workshop. You will work with a supportive team, maintain safety practices and produce clear testing reports.

Qualifications

• DVSA MOT Tester licence (Class 4 & 7) is essential and Class 5 is a plus.
• Proven track record as MOT Tester in a workshop setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Class 4, 5L & 7 MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Perform specialized fleet inspections, including taxi checks and VSI tests.
• Identify required repairs and provide clear testing reports to the team.
• Maintain compliance with workshop health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with workshop staff to ensure efficient workflow.
