Qualifications

• Active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Alternatively, significant practical experience in vehicle repair and maintenance with an active MOT licence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am-12:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards.
• Diagnose vehicle issues and perform associated servicing and repairs.
• Complete accurate reports and documentation for each vehicle tested.
• Support workshop activities to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Liaise effectively with team members to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Follow health and safety protocols and maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation.
