Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team in the UK. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and undertake a wide range of maintenance and repair work, from diagnostics to routine services, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

We offer a base salary, an uncapped monthly bonus, flexible hours (3 days a week) and a supportive environment with opportunities for training and career progression within Halfords.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent experience.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence and current driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering high-quality vehicle servicing and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete maintenance work.
• Perform diagnostics, routine servicing and repairs to high standards.
