AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join a professional dealership in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will conduct Class 4 and 7 MOT tests, perform vehicle inspections, diagnose faults, and carry out minor repairs while upholding DVSA standards and delivering excellent customer service.

We seek a qualified MOT tester with a valid Class 4 & 7 licence, NVQ level 3 in light vehicle maintenance, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work both independently and as

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Valid Class 4 & 7 MOT Tester Licence.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

Mansioni

• Carrying out Class 4 & 7 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
• Completing vehicle inspections and identifying repair requirements
• Diagnosing faults relating to brakes, suspension, steering and exhaust systems

The Role

As an MOT Tester, you'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet the highest safety and compliance standards while supporting the workshop team with inspections and repairs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out Class 4 & 7 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
• Completing vehicle inspections and identifying repair requirements
• Diagnosing faults relating to brakes, suspension, steering and exhaust systems
• Carrying out minor repairs where required
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standard

About You

• Valid Class 4 & 7 MOT Tester Licence
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as an MOT Tester or Vehicle Technician with an MOT Licence
• Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
