Daval Associates is seeking a qualified MOT Tester for a Taxi Compliance testing role in the United Kingdom. You will ensure Hackney Carriage and Private Hire vehicles meet safety and licensing standards, performing thorough inspections and maintaining accurate records.

The position offers 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with a 12-week temporary period leading to a potential permanent role. GMP vetting clearance is required.

Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent - 12 weeks

Hours: 37 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 7:00am - 4:45pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 rest day each week

Weekends: No weekend working

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a qualified MOT Tester to join a busy and professional vehicle testing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Taxi Compliance Tests in lieu of MOTs, ensuring Hackney Carriage and Private Hire vehicles meet the required safety, licensing and council standards.

This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-week temporary period.

You will play an important role in maintaining public safety by ensuring vehicles are inspected thoroughly and comply with the relevant regulations.
