Job summary

Kingston Bagpuize MOT centre is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to perform MOT tests to government standards and ensure vehicle safety for customers. You will explain work required, keep customers informed, and maintain high health and safety standards in the centre.

Requirements include a valid UK MOT Tester licence and full UK driving licence, strong knowledge of MOT procedures, and excellent communication with customers. A positive, team-focused attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in line with Government standards and regulations.

The Role

As an MOT Tester, you'll be responsible for delivering MOT tests to the highest standards, with the key objective of keeping customers safe on the road. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out MOT tests in line with Government standards and regulations
• Keeping customers updated throughout the MOT process
• Clearly explaining any work required and the reasons behind an MOT failure
• Providing excellent customer service
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness within the centre
