Job summary

Halfords is seeking a qualified MOT Tester in the Guildford area. The role offers a base salary and an uncapped bonus scheme with potential to earn above the base through performance bonuses.

There is a strong emphasis on workshop support, MOT testing, and contributing to a busy service centre. The position requires a valid MOT licence and a full UK driving licence with up to 9 points.

Qualifications

• Current MOT Testing Licence (essential for the role)
• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points
• Team player willing to assist in workshop with light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT testing and related vehicle inspections.
• Assist with light maintenance and workshop tasks when not testing MOTs.

• On-target earnings up to £41,190
• Comprising a base salary of £35,190
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,000 per year
• 5 days a week (the centre is closed on a Sunday)

Skills and experience
