Job summary

Halfords in Croydon, United Kingdom, is seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join our automotive service team. You will carry out MOT tests and assist with light maintenance, while benefitting from a structured development path and a commitment to hybrid training and career progression.

We offer a base salary of £35,000–£38,710 with an uncapped monthly bonus and an average annual additional earning of around £6,700. On-target earnings can reach up to £45,410, with generous leave and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Current MOT Testing Licence.
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Willing to assist in workshop maintenance when not performing MOTs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests and advise on repairs as needed.
• Assist with light vehicle maintenance in the workshop.

Skills And Experience

• Team player willing to assist in workshop carrying out light vehicle maintenance, when not performing MOT’s
