Job summary

Vertu Škoda Leicester is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our busy workshop. You will perform MOT tests, servicing and repairs, and health checks while advising customers on required work.

A valid MOT licence and a full UK driving licence are essential. Previous dealership or fast-fit experience is advantageous, and a reliable, team‑oriented approach to delivering high-quality workmanship is expected.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs as required.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
• Assist customers and provide technical advice as needed.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Support workshop team to maintain productivity and customer satisfaction.

Join Vertu Škoda Leicester as an MOT Tester and receive a £2,000 sign-on bonus, paid as £1,000 after your first month of employment and a further £1,000 after 13 monthsservice.

We're looking for a skilled and dedicated MOT Tester who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and enjoys being part of a busy, professional workshop. We are offering a basic salary of up to £37,700 depending on experience, plus our excellent company benefits and the £2,000 sign-on bonus.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
• Performing vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs where required
• Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
• Assisting with customer queries and providing technical advice when needed
• Ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard
• Supporting the wider workshop team to maintain productivity and customer satisfaction

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be a qualified MOT Tester holding a valid MOT licence and a full UK driving licence.

You’ll ideally have previous experience working within a dealership, independent garage or fast-fit environment and be passionate about delivering quality workmanship. We're looking for someone who is reliable, team-focused and committed to providing an excellent customer experience.
