Job summary

Octane Recruitment is hiring an MOT Tester for a well-established independent workshop in Crawley. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and handle servicing and repairs when needed. A full UK driving licence, your own tools and valid MOT status are required, with right to work in the UK.

The role offers a basic salary around £35,000 with potential for higher pay for strong MOT/Mechanic experience, plus overtime and occasional Saturday hours. Immediate start available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety.

MOT Tester - Crawley

We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester, MOT Technician, Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join an established independent workshop in Crawley. Applicants must be confident carrying out MOT tests independently and able to complete servicing and general mechanical repairs when required. A Full UK Driving Licence, own tools, valid MOT testing status and the right to work in the UK are required.

Job Details

• Location: Crawley
• Salary: £35,000 basic - higher salary considered for strong MOT Tester / Mechanic experience
• Bonus: Available for completing more than 10 additional MOTs per week
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm. 1 in 3 Saturdays, normally 8:30am-12:30pm
• Overtime: Available, including additional Saturday hours
