Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a well‑established automotive service centre in Colchester, Essex. You will conduct MOT tests, carry out light service and repairs when not testing, and maintain high standards of workmanship.

The role offers a Monday to Friday pattern with no weekend work, the chance to be the sole MOT tester in a busy workshop, and ongoing training within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Valid MOT Tester qualification with MOT testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests according to guidelines and standards.
