Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Nottingham is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join a reputable dealership on a full-time, permanent basis. You will conduct MOT tests and perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer and DVSA standards.

The role offers a competitive salary (£32,500–£36,500) with an OTE up to £42,500 through team bonuses, plus manufacturer training, clear career progression, 30 days holiday, pension and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
• Valid MOT Tester licence is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years' practical workshop experience.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Service, maintain and repair to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete comprehensive vehicle health checks.
• Maintain safety and quality to high standards.
• Record work accurately and collaborate in a busy workshop.
