Perfect Placement UK Ltd is representing a leading automotive service centre and tyre retailer in Chippenham seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester. You will conduct MOTs, perform servicing and repairs, and deliver high-quality workmanship.

The role offers a competitive starting salary of £38,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience), plus performance-based bonuses and overtime. You will benefit from 32 days holiday, training opportunities, and a contributory pension, working

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester.
• Valid MOT testing licence.
• UK driving licence with minimal points.

Mansioni

• Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards.

• Provide workshop support and assist with customer enquiries.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple nationwide locations, for an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their busy centre in Chippenham. The successful individual will be key in delivering high-quality vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOT testing to the highest standards.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:

• Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards

• Assist at the front reception with customer interactions as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, gained through employment or apprenticeship
• Valid MOT testing licence
• UK driving licence with minimal points
• Reliable and friendly manner capable of working well within a team
• Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently
• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Chippenham
