Job summary

MERJE is seeking a Risk Manager for a specialist mortgage lender in the UK. You will work with the Risk Director to spot, track and report on risk, ensuring the risk framework and registers stay up to date and aligned with strategic objectives.

You’ll run regular risk reviews, prepare reports for committees and the Board, and support incident reviews and third-party oversight, collaborating across teams to strengthen risk governance. Experience in lending and Excel data analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• UK financial services experience required.
• Background in lending, mortgages or retail banking.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Clear communicator and comfortable presenting.
