Job summary

MERJE is supporting a leading Investment Management firm to appoint a Financial Crime Risk Assessment Manager to shape and embed its Financial Crime Risk Assessment Framework.

This role focuses on designing, enhancing and sustaining risk assessment methodologies, collaborating with senior stakeholders and external advisers to deliver a robust, risk-based framework.

Location: London; 2 days per week in the office; Salary: £65,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or significantly enhancing BWRA.
• Experience developing Financial Crime Risk Assessment methodologies.
• Experience building Controls Libraries and assessing Control Effectiveness.
• Experience producing MI for senior decision making.
• Experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing the Business-Wide Financial Crime Risk Assessment methodology.
• Developing and maintaining Risk Assessment methodologies, Controls Libraries and Risk & Controls Frameworks.
• Assessing inherent and residual Financial Crime risks.
• Measuring and evidencing Control Effectiveness.
• Producing meaningful MI and reporting for senior stakeholders, Committees and the Board.
• Coordinating periodic Risk Assessment reviews and driving continuous improvement across the framework.
