Job summary

Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) is seeking a Mortgage & Protection Adviser in Brighton. You will source clients, provide mortgage and protection advice, and support clients through the home-buying journey with up-to-date knowledge of lender criteria.

CeMAP qualifed or equivalent is required, along with previous mortgage advising experience. Hybrid or remote work options are available depending on location, with a competitive commission structure and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) is required.
• Previous experience in mortgage advising.
• Great communicator and genuinely good with people.
• Organised, self-motivated and able to manage own workload.

What You'll Be Doing

• In addition to some leads being provided, you will need to be able to source your own customers and introducers and not be reliant on the firm to support you all the time with leads!
• Chatting with clients to understand their mortgage and protection needs.
• Offering expert, honest advice on a wide range of mortgage products and protection options.
• Guiding people through the home-buying journey - and making it less scary!
• Staying on top of market changes and lender criteria.

What We're Looking For

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent, must have)
• Previous experience in mortgage advising
• Great communicator and genuinely good with people.
• Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload.
