Job summary

i2i Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Mortgage Advisor in Gloucester to deliver top-quality mortgage and protection advice. You will work closely with clients, conducting in-depth assessments and managing the mortgage application process from start to finish.

Must have’s

• Previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage & Protection Advisor
• Strong knowledge of residential mortgages and the home-buying process
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Consultative approach with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage a busy workload and meet targets
• Strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements

Nice to have’s

• Experience working within an estate agency
• Experience advising on protection products
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Knowledge of a wide range of mortgage lenders and products

• Providing tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients
• Conducting detailed fact-finds and affordability assessments
• Recommending suitable mortgage and protection productsManaging mortgage applications from enquiry through to completion
• Building strong relationships with estate agency colleagues to maximise referrals
• Liaising with lenders, solicitors, surveyors and other stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
• Ensuring all advice meets FCA and internal compliance standards
• Achieving sales, service and compliance targets
• Keeping up to date with mortgage products, lender criteria and industry developments
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience that generates repeat business and referrals
