Job summary

PRIMIS Mortgage Network, part of LSL Property Services plc, seeks a Senior Mortgage Administrator / Para planner to join a busy AR partner firm in Walton on Thames. 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday, with hybrid working options and a competitive salary £28,000–£35,000 DOE.

The role focuses on researching mortgage and protection solutions, supporting advisers, and handling applications while ensuring compliance and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mortgage administration or advisor work.

Responsibilities

• Research mortgage and protection solutions and prepare recommendations.

Senior Mortgage Administrator / Para planner

Senior Mortgage Administrator / Para planner

PRIMIS Mortgage Network are seeking a Full Time highly experienced Senior Mortgage Administrator / Para planner to join a super busy Appointed Representative partner firm (AR) of PRIMIS Mortgage Network’s Mortgage Advisory operation.

Our highly valued AR partner is a small but super busy and successful Mortgage & Protection advisory business based in Walton on Thames.

The firm have 2 high volume Mortgage Advisors and 3 administrators currently and are now keen to expand their team with the addition of a Para planner.

We are specifically looking for a minimum of 5 years’ experience of Mortgage Administration or Advisor within a Mortgage Brokerage. Ideally the Para planner will have previous or current Advisory experience and is now looking for a more administrative role.

Monies are DOE and negotiable £28,000 - £35,000 DOE

The firm do not work on a Friday. You will be paid the full salary advertised for 4 days Monday - Thursday.

The role is primarily office based in Walton, but there may be some flex for hybrid working - a fully remote option is not available.

Working directly alongside the lead adviser, your responsibilities will include

• Researching mortgage and protection solutions using industry sourcing systems.
• Preparing research and recommendations to support client advice.
• Submitting mortgage and protection applications to lenders and insurers.
• Helping our Sales Progression team move cases from application through to completion.
• Liaising with clients, lenders, insurers, solicitors and third parties.
• Chasing outstanding information and proactively moving cases forward.
• Drafting client correspondence, summaries and supporting documentation.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
• Supporting the ongoing development of business processes and client experience.
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation.

Skills & Experience Required

• Hold relevant mortgage and protection qualifications.
• Have experience within a mortgage and protection environment.
• Be confident researching mortgage and protection solutions independently.
• Have experience submitting and managing cases with lenders and providers.
• Be highly organised and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Possess excellent telephone skills and be comfortable speaking with clients and professional contacts.
• Have exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Be naturally curious, proactive and eager to learn.
• Be comfortable using technology and excited by the opportunities created by AI and automation.
• Take ownership of their work and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Have a genuine desire to develop their knowledge and potentially progress into an advisory role over time.
