Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Breakfast Ward Host to join the Breakfast Services team across hospital wards in Slough. The role is part time (17.5 hours per week) on a rota basis, with shifts 07:00 to 10:30.

You will assist patients with breakfast, serve beverages, ensure safety and cleanliness, manage ward kitchen stock, and work with ward teams to start the day well. Prior catering or healthcare experience is helpful but training is provided.

Qualificações

• Good Standards of literacy
• Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene
• Good Knowledge of food safety /Kitchen

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with selecting their breakfast, considering medical, dietary and religious requirements in collaboration with clinical staff.
• Serve hot and cold beverages and distribute meals promptly.
• Refresh patient water jugs each morning.
• Support patients who require help with eating and elevate concerns to nursing staff.
• Take responsibility for maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic ward kitchen.
• Manage stock rotation, check expiry dates and order essential items.
• Dispose of food and general waste appropriately.
• Complete required catering monitoring and reporting documentation.
• Maintain high standards of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Food Allergen Management (full training provided)
