Job summary

Brookfield Barn in West Sussex seeks a Morning & Events Supervisor to welcome guests and oversee dawn hospitality for luxury weddings.

You will coordinate on-site teams, work with suppliers, and ensure immaculate venue presentation while guiding early-morning operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in hospitality supervision, boutique hotels, or event venues.
• Demonstrates exceptional guest service and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver breakfast and welcome guests with a premium, relaxed start to their day.
• Be the first point of contact for couples and bridal parties, setting a calm, exciting tone.
• Coordinate on-site teams and suppliers (florists, photographers, hair/makeup) and guide room turnarounds.
• Keep the venue presentation immaculate before guests arrive (barn, suites, grounds).
• Extend shifts on key event days to support ceremony setups, drinks, and floor coordination.

We’re looking for an energetic, warm, and highly organized Morning & Events Supervisor to be the welcoming face of our venue during peak operational hours.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver Memorable Mornings: Prepare and serve breakfast for overnight wedding guests, ensuring a relaxed, premium end to their stay.

• Welcome the Couple: Be the first point of contact for incoming brides, grooms, and bridal parties—setting a seamless, calm, and exciting tone for their big day.

• Coordinate On‑Site Teams & Suppliers: Assist florists, photographers, and hair/makeup teams on arrival while guiding room turnarounds with housekeeping.

• Venue Presentation: Keep our barn, suites, and lakeside grounds looking immaculate before guests arrive.

• Event Execution: Extend your shift on key event days to support ceremony setups, welcome drinks, and floor coordination alongside the Event Management team.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experienced: 1+ years in hospitality supervision, boutique hotels, or event venues.

• People First: Extremely welcoming, empathetic, and calm under pressure—able to deliver 5‑star service to excited couples and morning guests alike.

• Detail‑Oriented: You notice the small things—from a misaligned napkin to a missing table sign.

• Flexible: Comfortable with early morning starts, weekend working, and variable shift patterns on event days.

• Location: Due to our rural location, having reliable transport/a valid driving license is essential.
