Job summary

Gunthorpe Primary School is seeking a Breakfast Club Assistant to join our friendly team. You will help run the Breakfast Club, support breakfast and play activities for children aged 4–11, and escort pupils to Norwood Primary School when needed.

Ideally you will have childcare experience and a basic understanding of food hygiene and safeguarding. A positive, team-oriented approach is essential to thrive in our welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with children aged 4–11 years is preferred.
• NVQ level 2 in childcare/education is desirable but not essential.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering breakfast, play and care for children aged 4–11.
• Supervise healthy breakfast provision and promote healthy eating.
• Escort children to Norwood Primary School when required.
