Willing Care Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Room Leader to head the Pre-School Room in a UK nursery near Wembley. The role combines nurturing childcare with Montessori-inspired education and requires leading practice in line with EYFS.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor staff, plan engaging learning experiences, and ensure safeguarding and health and safety standards are upheld. The position offers a 40-hour week and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• EYFS knowledge with Montessori understanding is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the Pre-School Room.
• Deliver outstanding care and education in line with EYFS and Montessori principles.
• Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences for school readiness.
• Support, mentor and develop practitioners within the room.
• Encourage independence, confidence and creativity through play-based learning.
• Utilise outdoor environments to enrich daily learning experiences.
• Observe, assess and monitor children's progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Maintain safeguarding, health & safety and nursery standards.
