Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking a Money Purchase Pensions Support Specialist to contribute to governance, data analysis and member outcomes across our money purchase pension schemes. You will work with colleagues, advisers and our administrator to ensure regulatory compliance and effective decision-making.

Money Purchase Pensions Support Specialist - Salary between £40.000-£67.000 (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications)

This is a great job for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and making a positive difference to pension scheme members. This role would suit someone with experience in pensions administration, pension consulting or pension scheme management who is keen to broaden their expertise across governance, investments, regulation and member engagement. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with stakeholder collaboration while helping deliver strong outcomes for members.

A bit about the job:

The Trustee Executive Services Team plays an important role in supporting Aviva Staff Pension Trustee Limited with the governance and management of four pension schemes representing more than £3 billion of money purchase assets and approximately 55,000 members. In this role, you will support the day-to-day management of our money purchase pension arrangements while helping provide the insight and information needed for effective decision-making. You will work closely with colleagues, advisers and our third-party administrator to support governance activities, regulatory compliance and member outcomes. Alongside this, you will analyse scheme data, support investment oversight and contribute to projects that help improve the experience and outcomes of our members. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across pensions operations, regulation, investments and scheme management while working with experienced pensions professionals.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Experience of working in money purchase pensions /define contribution is essential.

  • Experience in pensions administration, pension scheme management, pension consulting or a related pensions role.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn findings into meaningful insights.

  • Strong organisational skills and a customer-focused approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with the UK pensions regulatory environment and pension governance requirements is essential.
