Job summary

Community Energy England is seeking a qualified Money Adviser to join our advice team. You’ll provide specialist advice to clients facing financial difficulties, helping them understand options, resolve debt issues and improve their financial wellbeing.

You’ll need a recognised money advice qualification and recent experience of debt and money advice, with the ability to manage your own caseload in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Location: remote, on a hybrid basis, or office-based from Harrogate, Malton, Northallerton, Richmond, Scarborough or Selby.

Are you a qualified and experienced Money Adviser looking to use your skills to make a real difference?

We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Money Advice Caseworker to join our advice team. You’ll use your knowledge and expertise to provide specialist advice to clients facing financial difficulties, helping them understand their options, resolve debt issues and improve their financial wellbeing.

You’ll need a recognised money advice qualification, together with recent experience of providing debt and money advice and managing your own caseload. You’ll have strong communication and negotiation skills, a good understanding of debt remedies, insolvency options and the interaction between debt and welfare benefits, and a commitment to delivering advice that is free, confidential, impartial and independent.

You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative team, helping people find a way forward when they’re facing financial difficulties.

The role can be carried out remotely from anywhere within the UK, on a hybrid basis, or office-based from your choice of our North Yorkshire offices in Harrogate, Malton, Northallerton, Richmond, Scarborough or Selby.
