Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a Monday to Friday role in the United Kingdom. You will start at 7:30 am with a pay rate of £14.50–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience, and join a safety‑conscious team focused on reliable, timely deliveries.

The role requires arranging deliveries and collections, maintaining accurate documentation, and complying with WTD rules while delivering outstanding customer service across customer sites.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence and Driver CPC qualification.
• At least two years' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph rules.
• Reliable, punctual with a professional customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out deliveries and collections safely at customer premises.
• Maintain professional, customer-focused conduct at all times.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and paperwork accurately.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with safety procedures.
• Adhere to driver hours, WTD, and company policies.
