Job summary

The Best Connection Group Manchester is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers (Category C) for a leading retail client based in Salford, Greater Manchester. This is a full-time role offering ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

As a Class 2 HGV Driver you will perform multi-drop deliveries, conduct daily safety checks, complete paperwork accurately and provide excellent customer service. Start times are early, with Monday to Friday shifts and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Knowledge of UK road traffic laws.
• Understanding of Drivers' Hours Regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores throughout Manchester and surrounding areas.
• Completing approximately 6-7 deliveries per shift.
• Handballing deliveries at customer locations.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Operating a Class 2 vehicle in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Following Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
