Job summary

Randox Laboratories seeks a Molecular Section Lead to oversee delivery of molecular-based products and guide the team in technical development. You will lead projects, coordinate with R&D managers and senior leadership to meet annual objectives.

The role requires a biochemistry or life sciences background, extensive molecular lab experience, and strong leadership/communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in Northern Ireland with no visa sponsorship offered at hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science or Life Science related discipline.
• Experience in a molecular lab and lead role within R&D.
• Proven experience in commercial molecular assay, reagents, system design and development, verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Molecular R&D section and projects, ensuring delivery to goals and timelines.
• Interface between project teams, R&D managers and senior management.
• Lead projects with external partners as required.
• Oversee experimental design, planning and resource allocation within the team.
• Oversee training, development and competency levels within the team.
• Set annual staff goals and KPIs for projects and milestones.
