Job summary

Randox Laboratories is seeking a Team Leader for Molecular Microbiology to supervise a two-person lab team. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure timely supply to R&D projects, and drive project-oriented microbiology work within ISO guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in microbiology with R&D or industry experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to motivate a small team in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a microbiological discipline.
• Previous experience in an R&D or commercial microbiology laboratory.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Molecular Microbiology lab day-to-day operations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a two-person microbiology team.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to R&D projects.
• Develop and implement experimental plans within ISO frameworks.
• Maintain records of all experimental work and ensure compliance.
• Train staff in line with standards and regulations.
• Perform a broad range of microbiological tests and procedures.
• Identify and classify microorganisms using microbiological and molecular methods.
