The Modern Workplace Architect, operating within the Edge capability, will lead the strategic planning and execution of customer migrations to Windows 11. This involves designing and implementing the necessary architecture to support migration, minimizing business disruption, and optimizing IT infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.

Hybrid working: Your work location will vary, including Company offices, client sites, and your home, but you will not work 100% remotely.

If successful, you will undergo pre-employment checks including identity, nationality/immigration status, employment history for the past 3 years, and a criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your role

As Modern Workplace Architect, you will lead the design, planning, and delivery of modern workplace solutions. Responsibilities include:

1. Developing strategies for transitioning from on-premises to cloud-native management using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
2. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and align project goals.
3. Creating, testing, and deploying application packages using industry-standard tools, including Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
4. Providing technical guidance on best practices and troubleshooting.
5. Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
6. Documenting processes and configurations to support transitions and ongoing management.

Your Skills And Experience

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft Intune, and Autopilot.
• Understanding of posture control technologies like Ivanti/Heat Device & Application Control.
• Experience migrating user data to OneDrive for remote work facilitation.
• Proficiency in application packaging (MSI/MSIX) and compatibility testing.
• Understanding security policies and compliance, especially in high-security environments.

Your security clearance

This role requires Security Check (SC) clearance. You must have resided in the UK continuously for the last 5 years and meet other criteria. You will be asked about your eligibility during recruitment. Some roles may restrict applicants to UK nationals.
