Job summary

Kibble is seeking a Modern Apprentice in Early Learning and Childcare at Puddle Lane, Hillington Park, Glasgow. The role offers a path to SVQ level 3 (SCQF 7) in Social Services: Children and Young People, with structured study support and practical training across a caring team.

You will learn to follow Scottish Early Years guidelines, support health and wellbeing, and contribute to a holistic curriculum while developing essential skills with young children in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to pursue SVQ level 3 in Social Services: Children and Young People.
• Willingness to complete Modern Apprenticeship (MA) as part of employment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring approach with children.

Responsibilities

• Learn, understand, and apply the national guidelines for Early Years in line with the Scottish Early Years Framework.
• Apply SVQ studies in practice by nurturing children’s health and wellbeing.
• Be part of a team delivering a holistic early childhood curriculum in line with the Curriculum for Excellence and assessment.
• Support children’s social and emotional development through play, stories, music and art activities.
• Monitor and assess children’s progress and achievements.
• Collaborate with other agencies to provide the best experience for the children.
