Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Model Release Manager in London to ensure the AI model releases are reliable, on time, and production-ready for our autonomous driving platform. You will own the full lifecycle from hypothesis through deployment, balancing fast iteration with disciplined release practices.

You will collaborate with ML engineering, data science, and software teams, building processes, dashboards, and tooling to achieve stability and clear communication with leaders and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in release management or related field.
• Strong SDLC and release-management practices including testing, integration, branching, and versioning.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (GitHub, Buildkite, CLI).

Responsibilities

• Own the model release cycle with a steady, predictable cadence.
• Define and run gates for promotion across hypothesis → training → evaluation → deployment.
• Drive investigations on regressions and technical debt; manage rollbacks/roll-forwards.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement dashboards/KPIs for visibility.
• Build processes and frameworks that support clarity, stability, and business goals.
• Partner with ML platform and integration teams to shape end-to-end release tooling.
• Collaborate with ML engineering, evaluation, data science, software platform, testing, and product teams.
• Communicate model-release status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders.
• Run post-release reviews and drive corrective actions.
