Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team, based at the Silverstone facility near Towcester, is seeking a Model Design Engineer to deliver high-quality, validated parts for wind tunnel testing and aerodynamic development. You will own end-to-end design projects, create CAD models, manage documentation, and collaborate with Aerodynamicists to ensure parts meet technical specifications.

• Deliver high-quality, well-validated parts for wind tunnel testing in line with aerodynamic targets
• Support on complete design projects, including CAD creation, project management, quality-checking, and documentation
• Continuously improve the functionality, quality, and robustness of model parts to optimize wind tunnel test efficiency
• Drive the development and implementation of improved design workflows and standards
• Collaborate closely with Aerodynamicists and Surface Design Engineers to ensure alignment with technical specifications
• Ensure adherence to standard design practices and help refine them as needed
