Lumentum Operations LLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Shift Process Engineer for the MOCVD epitaxy process on a continental shift pattern. You will support day-to-day production, set up and tune complex equipment, guide the epitaxy technician team, and help maintain data logs and performance data.

The role demands autonomy after training, with a professional, cost-conscious approach and collaboration across multiple engineering and facilities teams.

Formación

• 3 years of related experience or a degree (or equivalent) in engineering or science.
• Experience in a high-technology manufacturing or cleanroom environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processing equipment or vacuum systems is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out manufacturing activities according to process instructions, including setup and operation of complex equipment.
• Perform characterization, data recording and production support for the epitaxy (MOCVD) process.
• Coordinate work-area activity and interface with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering and Facilities.
• Provide first-line support to the manufacturing technician team for unexpected outcomes.
• Ensure routine checklists for process equipment and basic maintenance activities are completed.
• Participate in handovers and information exchanges within the Epitaxy team.
• Support reporting of performance metrics and organize workloads; meet team targets.
