Job summary

East Coast Mobility in Lowestoft is seeking a Workshop Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will prepare new and refurbished mobility equipment, ensuring safety and reliability for customers, with a Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm schedule.

You will assemble mobility scooters and powerchairs, perform pre-delivery inspections, and carry out servicing and repairs while maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and basic IT knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mobility scooters, powerchairs and other equipment for sale/delivery.
• Refurbish used mobility products to high quality standards.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections, servicing and repairs and maintain records.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
