Job summary

Elavation Platforms & Training is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer based near Silverstone to service, maintain and repair plant machinery at client sites and sometimes in the yard. The role combines hands-on diagnostics with planning, parts ordering and safety checks to minimise downtime.

You will hold a full UK driving licence and bring experience in plant maintenance; CAP trained is desirable. You’ll work with a small team to meet tight deadlines and ensure high reliability of equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant maintenance, inspection or repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• CAP trained - desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and fault-find machines at set times to avoid major problems.
• Have the latest equipment to repair machines.
• Make detailed reports on changes and next service dates.
• Order parts in advance to avoid downtime for hire equipment.
• Service and repair machines as needed and promptly.
• Conduct safety checks to ensure user safety.
• Hands-on repairs and improvements to machinery performance.
• Ensure replacement parts are in stock.
• Work in a team to meet tight deadlines.
• Plan servicing work to avoid depot output disruption.
• Delegate work to maintain fast pace.
