Job summary

Currys PLC in Saint Albans is seeking a White Goods Engineer to join our Stevenage Customer Service Centre. This permanent, full-time role covers London EN, N, HA, NW postcodes and more, with a salary of £33,000–£38,000 per year, rising to £36,000–£40,000 for gas-qualified candidates.

41 hours weekly, five over eight days, with a comprehensive benefits package. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and provide excellent customer service while delivering consistent, high-quality home visits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in White Goods repairs.
• Full UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• ACS Qualifications (or equivalent) in Essential Gas Safety Domestic (CCN1) and Gas Cookers & Ranges (CKR1) preferred but not essential.
• To love that feeling when you've delivered for a customer.

Responsibilities

• Driving your company van and managing your day effectively (mainly solo).
• Testing, diagnosing and fixing white goods in customers' homes.
• Providing and implementing technical knowledge across a range of white goods appliances.
• Building up Currys' reputation as a home services expert.
