Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Commercial Plumber / Water Hygiene Technician (Legionella Compliance) for a mobile role covering Glasgow and the Central Belt. The candidate must be a qualified plumber with Legionella awareness, a valid driving licence, and DBS enhanced disclosure.

Salary up to £35,000 DOE with benefits. The role involves delivering PPM and remedial water hygiene works, performing water sampling and analysis, and ensuring L8 ACOP compliance across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Qualified Plumber with essential status.
• Legionella awareness training and knowledge of L8 ACOP, HSG274 guidance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PPM and remedial water hygiene/treatment works across sites.
• Carry out temperature monitoring and descaling of showerheads; inspect cold water storage tanks.
• Perform cooling tower cleaning, disinfection and TMV servicing.
• Conduct water sampling, LTHW testing, and inhibitor/biocide dosing.
