CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Commercial Plumber / Water Hygiene Technician for a mobile role across Glasgow and the Central Belt. The role focuses on Legionella compliance, water hygiene maintenance, and plumbing duties in a dynamic facilities services environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Plumber (Essential)
• Legionella Awareness Training with knowledge of Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and related guidance
• Knowledge of Water Hygiene service delivery requirements per Table 2.1 HSG274 Part 2
• Valid driving licence
• DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists clearance required

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and remedial water hygiene/treatment works with the technical team and schedulers
• Perform temperature monitoring, showerhead descaling, cold water storage tank inspections and cleans
• Carry out cooling tower cleaning and disinfection
• Service thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs)
• Conduct water sampling and analysis
• Perform LTHW system testing and analysis
• Dose systems with inhibitor/biocide chemicals
• Undertake cooling system testing and analysis
• Conduct steam boiler testing and analysis
• Service water softeners and related equipment
• Carry out plumbing remedial works as required
• Maintain ACOP L8/site logbooks accurately when acting as Primary Technician
