Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Commercial Plumber / Water Hygiene Technician (Legionella Compliance) for a mobile role across Glasgow and the wider Central Belt. The role focuses on conducting PPM and remedial water hygiene works, with responsibilities including testing, dosing, and inspections.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified plumber with Legionella awareness, a valid driving licence, and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Plumber with essential status.
• Legionella awareness training including knowledge of regulations/byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274.
• Knowledge of water hygiene service delivery requirements based on HSG274 Part 2.
• Valid driving licence.
• DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and remedial water hygiene works across multiple locations.
• Perform temperature monitoring, descaling, storage tank inspections and cleans.
• Complete cooling tower cleaning and disinfection, TMV servicing, water sampling and analysis.
• Dose systems with inhibitors/biocides; conduct cooling system testing and analysis.
• Carry out steam boiler testing and associated tasks.
