Job summary

Monday Matters Recruitment is working with a leading name in the automotive industry to recruit a Mobile Vehicle Technician to support their nationwide team in Corby. The role involves visiting customers to service, repair and diagnose vehicles, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and a valid UK driving licence, with a flexible, independent working style and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Mechanical Inspector.
• Full, valid UK driving licence (2+ years).
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing a varied workload.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general vehicle servicing and repairs within your qualifications.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and undertake electrical diagnostics where required.
• Complete repairs in line with approved methods and manufacturer standards.
• Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure vehicles are repaired and restored to their original condition.
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately and follow company procedures.
• Provide a professional, customer-focused service when interacting with customers face to face.
