RAC Mobile Mechanics bring their technical expertise to our customers' doors, performing car services, repairs, and diagnostics at customers' homes or workplaces. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based vehicle technicians to join our growing team.

We provide the van, tools, and bookings—your role is to bring your personality, customer service skills, and experience.

What you'll get with the RAC

• Market-leading base salary of £38,625, with opportunities to increase earnings to £48,000 through bonuses and overtime.

You're a friendly face. You’ll interact with customers at every appointment—answering questions, giving advice, and representing RAC.

You love variety. The job involves services, diagnostics, repairs, and checks on driveways. You’ll also handle stock, reporting, and customer communication.

You can think on your feet. Our mechanics make decisions for our customers, dealing with a variety of issues and meeting different people daily.

Requirements:

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of practical experience as a vehicle technician in the motor trade working with various light vehicles.
• Full UK driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
